Our policy about privacy is a very strict policy which prevents us from selling or giving your name, email address or any other form of identifying you or suggesting contact with you for any reason whatsoever.

Purpose

Our purpose is to share our unique knowledge about the camping and hiking life found here in the Great Smoky Mountains. We are a family of hikers and campers and we live in the heart of the mountains within eyesight of the Appalachian Trail, albeit several miles away. Our view stretches between Charlie's Bunion and Eagle Top just north of Newfound Gap on the Appalachian Trail. We see straight up Porter's Flat between Wooly Tops and Greenbrier Pinnacle.

Eagle Top is just behind the eve of our log cabin. We are looking through the icicles towards Greenbrier Pinnacle. Porter's Flats is behind the cabin to the right of Greenbrier Pinnacle and Wooly Tops is a very flattop mountain to the right of the Pinnacle.
